Political communication, which has just started to find a place for itself in Turkey, IS ALL KIND OF COMMUNICATION IMPLEMENTED BY A POLITICAL ACTOR TO ACHIEVE A PURPOSE. This form of communication mostly targets voters at election time, and it also appears in written and visual form.
 If we expand this further, every detail that we can notice, from the outfit worn by a political candidate to the hairstyle or party logo, is among the important factors of political communication and has an effect on the voter's voting behavior. As can be understood, political communication consists of words and symbols and contains various messages to influence the electorate.
For example, the debate programs attended by the political candidates we see the most in America and Europe, rallies that still have a great importance in establishing an emotional bond with the voters despite the introduction of the internet and new ways of communication into our lives, the relationship the candidate establishes with the electorate in the field plays an important role in conveying messages, projects and goals to the voters. plays a huge role and significantly influences the voting behavior of the electorate.

The strategic communication plan plays a major role in the political candidate's understanding of the electorate, seeing their expectations and explaining himself to the electorate in the light of these expectations. In short, this strategic communication applied determines the most basic problems, main themes and target audience in the society and makes it the main element of the campaign. In today's campaigns, with the professionalization of political campaigns, that is, the use of political consultants, technology and field research, the applied surveys obtain data describing the main problems, showing the target audience, predicting which message to approach the voters with, and the election campaign mechanism creates a communication plan in line with the survey results. .
Well, when we look at Turkey, how does the political communication mechanism work? They chose a path full of turmoil and pomp, with a visible professionalization and the appearance of American imitations in political campaigns.
